Job Description

U.S. Lawns is a well-established landscaping service company operating through a network of independently owned and operated franchisees. Dedicated to delivering high-quality landscaping solutions to commercial and residential clients, U.S. Lawns combines industry expertise with a commitment to customer satisfaction. Each franchise operates as a distinct business entity, allowing localized management and customization of services to meet the unique needs of their communities. This independence empowers franchise owners and their teams to deliver tailored landscape maintenance, enhancement, and management services, supported by the overarching branding, training, and operational standards of U.S. Lawns. The company values professionalism, safety, and client responsiveness, deeply embedding these core principles into all aspects of its franchise operations. Employment decisions and offers are the prerogative of individual franchisees rather than the corporate entity, U.S. Lawns, Inc., underscoring the franchise model's autonomous yet cohesive nature.

The role described is a multifaceted managerial position within a U.S. Lawns franchise, responsible for the overarching administration and operational control of the franchise location. This leadership role requires a strong focus on financial management, client relations, employee oversight, and rigorous safety compliance. The successful candidate will be entrusted with full budget management across labor, materials, and administrative expenses, ensuring financial health through careful review of monthly reports with an emphasis on profit and loss statements and cash flow dynamics. Client engagement responsibilities include maintaining detailed contact logs and survey programs, serving as the primary contact for clients, and collaborating on maintenance and enhancement budgets. This client-facing aspect ensures service quality and drives business growth through strong relationships and active participation in community activities.

Employee management is a critical component, with duties encompassing recruitment strategy development, supervisory training, effective communication between field teams and office staff, and initiatives to boost and maintain crew morale. The managerial scope extends to safety oversight, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety programs and laws, including OSHA standards. Responsibilities include supervision or acting as the Branch Safety Officer and managing Hazard Communication Programs and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for both shop and vehicles. This comprehensive approach illustrates the role's importance in fostering a safe, compliant, and high-performance work environment.

This position is ideal for individuals who bring leadership capabilities, financial acumen, client service orientation, and a thorough understanding of safety regulations in a landscaping or similar operational setting. As an integral part of the U.S. Lawns franchise network, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic, community-focused business model with an emphasis on quality and accountability.
