Job Description

This opportunity is with a leading hotel company dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality services and ensuring guest satisfaction while driving business profitability. The position available is that of a Hotel Supervisor, reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations. This full-time exempt role focuses on overseeing day-to-day hotel operations with a strong commitment to revenue growth, cost control, and employee development. The primary goal is to maintain and enhance the integrity and performance of the hotel property.

The Hotel Supervisor plays a vital leadership role, driving results across multiple departments, including sales and marketing, guest relations, employee staffing and development, financial record keeping, and compliance with brand standards. The role requires a hands-on approach with a proactive attitude to problem-solving, guest service, and operational management. The incumbent will be responsible for creating a positive and team-oriented culture, ensuring professional conduct and dress code, managing attendance and schedules, and upholding confidentiality. The Supervisor is expected to effectively address guest complaints, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate actively in the local community's business and civic affairs. Maintaining financial oversight such as budgets, audits, and accounts receivable collections is also critical.

Additionally, the Supervisor will collaborate with the Revenue Manager and Director of Sales to optimize room rates and manage group bookings to maximize profitability. Regular staff meetings and training sessions will be conducted to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce that meets brand standards and performance goals. Consistent engagement in safety, security, property maintenance, and loss prevention protects both guests and assets. The Hotel Supervisor also ensures that the physical property is well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing, with timely preventive maintenance to brand specifications. Employee performance reviews and adequate staffing levels are paramount to supporting the hotel’s operational success. This comprehensive role demands dedication and flexibility, as exempt employees are expected to work the hours necessary to fulfill their responsibilities and contribute effectively to the hotel’s overall achievements.

Job Requirements
