The General Manager role at Wingstop is a pivotal leadership position responsible for steering restaurant operations and driving financial success. This full-time position focuses on strategic and tactical management, emphasizing team development, sales growth, and profitability. The General Manager leads by example, instilling the Wingstop culture into the day-to-day activities and ensuring that every team member aligns with the mission to Serve the World Flavor. They oversee the recruitment, training, and continuous development of staff, fostering an environment where collaboration, fun, and hard work thrive.

In this role, the General Manager works closely with all levels of the restaurant team and corporate support to ensure operational standards are maintained and that the restaurant delivers on its promise of excellent customer experiences. A key part of the role involves managing financial aspects including budgeting, cost control, profit and loss analysis, and business planning to meet and exceed targets. The manager must also be adept in people management, creating effective schedules, addressing performance issues, and cultivating a positive and productive workplace culture.

Additionally, the General Manager ensures compliance with risk management policies, maintains the physical restaurant environment up to company standards, and communicates effectively with district leadership to align team efforts with broader organizational goals. Job Requirements

  • minimum high school diploma or GED
  • some college preferred
  • must be 18 years or older
  • proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • ability to adapt to new systems quickly

  • minimum 5 plus years food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience
  • proficiency in profit and loss analysis and financial performance
