Supreme Dumplings is a renowned Taiwanese restaurant brand dedicated to delivering moments of joy through authentic culinary experiences. Rooted in the rich tradition of Taiwanese cuisine, the company has built its reputation by serving Xiao Long Bao, a delicate and iconic dumpling that originates from China's Song Dynasty over 1,000 years ago. The role of General Manager at Supreme Dumplings in Honolulu, HI, specifically at the Ala Moana Center, presents a unique leadership opportunity as this will be the first restaurant opening in Hawaii. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing the brand's presence and ensuring a world-class dining experience that reflects the company’s mission and values. This full-time, salaried, exempt position offers an annual salary ranging from $95,000 to $105,000, based on experience and skills, providing a competitive compensation package for the right candidate.
As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including team leadership, guest satisfaction, financial management, and compliance with regulatory standards. This leadership role demands strategic vision combined with hands-on management, encompassing recruitment, training, employee development, and operational efficiency. You will be tasked with building a motivated team committed to excellence, promoting the core values of honesty, transparency, respect, empathy, and continuous learning. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations until a District or Regional Manager is appointed, and includes an extensive 6 to 8 weeks of training in Seattle before the restaurant’s grand opening.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience
- Experience in hospitality or Asian-inspired cuisine preferred
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and analyze financial data
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to undergo 6-8 weeks of training in Seattle
- Ability to work full-time and adapt to a fast-paced restaurant environment
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience, ideally in hospitality or Asian-inspired cuisine
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams
- Bilingual in Spanish or Cantonese preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with guests, staff, and vendors
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L analysis, and cost management
- Deep knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and compliance
- Passion for food, hospitality, and guest-centric service
Job Duties
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory, and quality control
- Deliver exceptional guest service to ensure a welcoming and memorable dining environment
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis
- Recruit, train, mentor, and support team members to create a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotions, events, and community engagement strategies
