The 7Venture Stand Manager position is pivotal to the company’s success, as it involves overseeing every aspect of the stand's operations, growth, and culture preservation. The Stand Manager acts as the leader and primary point of contact for their crew, maintaining genuine connections with each team member while managing the unique operational nuances of their location. Reporting directly to a District Manager, this role carries responsibility not only for day-to-day management but also for coaching, training, and administrative duties that ensure efficiency and a positive customer experience.

Core responsibilities include mastering all Brewista and Shift Lead duties, ensuring excellent wait times and cleanliness, providing performance feedback, scheduling staff within budget constraints, managing inventory effectively, handling cash deposits, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. Leadership development is a key part of this role, with the Stand Manager responsible for developing future leaders by delegating tasks thoughtfully and managing hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Can work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products
  • Can work outside for prolonged periods regardless of weather
  • Can lift up to 50lbs
  • Can stand comfortably for hours
  • Can climb a ladder and use a stepladder
  • Can perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting to stock and clean
  • Can safely walk between and around cars in the drive-thru line
  • Can operate all stand positions efficiently during peak hours
  • Can maintain operational awareness while working a position

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment with 40+ team members
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and email
  • Ability to create genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers
  • Effective management of multiple projects and deadlines
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in stressful situations
  • Ability to assertively and gracefully confront coworkers to address issues
  • Experience leading and directing multiple personality types under pressure
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Become proficient in all Brewista and Shift Lead duties and skill sets
  • Maintain excellent wait times, cleanliness, and customer interactions through training, coaching, and encouragement
  • Provide regular feedback to each team member on strengths and areas of growth
  • Create a weekly shift schedule working with crew availability while maintaining budgeted labor costs
  • Track and order necessary inventory, small wares, parts, and equipment
  • Ensure appropriate cash handling, deposits, and change management
  • Work self-sufficiently and involve the district coach when necessary
  • Ensure crew meets all health and safety requirements
  • Develop new leaders to fill future roles
  • Implement and communicate directives from upper management
  • Delegate tasks to leadership team and Brewistas to promote efficiency and development
  • Manage hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions related to shift leads and baristas
