Job Description

Burger King Corporation is a globally recognized leader in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry, renowned for its flame-grilled burgers and exceptional customer service. Established with a commitment to quality food and a strong brand presence, Burger King continues to expand its footprint by promoting operational excellence and customer satisfaction throughout its outlets worldwide. As a fast food powerhouse, Burger King combines innovative marketing strategies with efficient restaurant operations to deliver an unmatched dining experience for millions of customers every day.

The Company seeks a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the strategic and operational facets of a Burger King restaurant location. This pivotal role is responsible for the profitable operation of the restaurant by adhering to established practices and procedures set by Burger King Corporation and the company's specific policies. The ideal candidate will oversee various aspects such as cost control, customer service, appearance of the restaurant and employees, sales growth, profit maximization, and team development.

As a Restaurant Manager, the person will ensure seamless service by actively engaging in front counter operations to guarantee high-quality customer interactions and product availability. The role requires managing sales targets through effective local store marketing and diligent analysis of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to take corrective actions promptly. Ensuring strict compliance with food preparation standards and implementing inventory control protocols through an established system will be central to maintaining operational excellence.

Another critical responsibility involves labor management, including creating and adjusting employee schedules based on sales volume while adhering to company-approved labor guidelines. Managing cash operations, including daily bank deposits and following strict cash handling procedures, ensures financial accountability. Safety and compliance constitute another key area, requiring the manager to maintain a safe work environment, report incidents promptly, and meet or exceed health department ratings.

The Restaurant Manager is also tasked with workforce management duties such as overseeing hiring, promotions, payroll processing, performance reviews, and documentation of disciplinary actions in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. This role emphasizes leadership qualities, motivating and developing employees while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus. Participation in scheduled management meetings will support ongoing training and review of operations and policies.

The position demands flexibility, strong communication skills, mathematical proficiency in financial analysis, and computer literacy related to order processing and scheduling systems. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold a High School diploma or GED, and possess Serv Safe certification. Prior experience in the restaurant or fast food industry is preferred to effectively manage complex challenges and ensure the highest standards of service.

Compensation for this role is based on the appropriate pay band with additional incentive bonuses tied to the performance and profitability of the restaurant. Candidates must pass background checks and drug testing as conditions of employment. Work environment conditions may involve exposure to varying indoor and outdoor temperatures, physical demands such as lifting and prolonged standing, and operating various kitchen and point-of-sale equipment.

This is a full-time management opportunity with Burger King, offering career advancement, a dynamic work environment, and the chance to contribute to a globally respected brand while driving local sales and operational success.
