Job Description

U.S. Lawns is a leading provider in the commercial lawn care industry, operating as a system of independently owned and operated franchisees. Each office functions as an individual and committed franchise business focused on delivering superior lawn care and landscaping services to its clients. The company has established a reputable presence nationwide, widely recognized for its dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. U.S. Lawns offers innovative solutions encompassing everything from regular lawn maintenance to more specialized landscape enhancements, serving a broad spectrum of commercial clients ranging from small businesses to corporate campuses.

The role described is a multifaceted leadership position key to managing the operational and administrative aspects of a U.S. Lawns franchise office. This position carries significant financial responsibility, overseeing labor, materials, and administrative budgets, while also managing account receivables and ensuring a solid understanding of profit and loss (P&L) statements and cash flow. The role is vital in sustaining the franchise’s financial health and driving continued business growth. Additionally, the position serves as the primary client liaison, maintaining robust client relations through systematic client contact logs, survey programs, and direct communication. This ensures an ongoing partnership with clients based on trust and mutual engagement, including the establishment of maintenance and enhancement budget plans.

Employee management is another core element of this leadership position, focusing on recruiting, training, and morale-boosting initiatives among the crew. Effective communication between field teams and office management is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and a positive workplace environment. The role also carries safety management responsibilities, which involve compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations such as OSHA. The position oversees the Hazcom Program and manages Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for both shop and vehicle requirements, ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees.

This job family chart reflects the general nature and range of duties expected but is not exhaustive of all responsibilities which may arise. By applying for this position, candidates acknowledge that they will work under an independently franchised business entity rather than directly for U.S. Lawns, Inc. Prospective employees understand that any employment terms and decisions will be made by the individual franchise owner, and that U.S. Lawns, Inc. holds no liability or responsibility in employment matters of its franchises. U.S. Lawns values equal opportunity and encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds to join its ever-growing and dynamic team.
