The role of General Manager at Wingstop is both strategic and hands-on, requiring an effective leader to drive the restaurant’s success through team development, sales growth, and operational management. The General Manager provides critical leadership by overseeing daily operations and ensuring the restaurant meets or exceeds its financial and customer service goals. This role involves managing a diverse team with a focus on recruitment, training, and motivation aligned with Wingstop’s mission and culture. The General Manager position demands strong business acumen, including the ability to analyze financial statements, control labor and food costs, and develop actionable business plans to drive profitability. Excellence in people management is equally vital, with responsibilities encompassing staffing, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, and enforcing performance plans to maintain an engaged and productive workforce. Additionally, the General Manager ensures that health and safety standards are met and communicates effectively with district leadership and support teams to maintain smooth operations. This full-time role requires a proactive leader capable of working flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to support the restaurant’s needs. Job Requirements

  • minimum of high school diploma or GED
  • some college preferred
  • must be 18 years or older
  • proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • ability to adapt to new systems quickly

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 5 years of food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience
  • proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements
  • demonstrated ability in recruiting and selecting team members
  • knowledge of labor laws
  • strong written and verbal communication skills

  • strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

Job Duties
