Job Requirements

  • minimum of high school diploma or GED
  • some college preferred
  • must be 18 years or older
  • proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • ability to adapt to new systems quickly

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 5 years of food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience
  • proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements
  • demonstrated ability in recruiting and selecting team members
  • knowledge of labor laws
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • initiative and assertiveness
  • strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • strong leadership and ability to manage, train, develop and motivate diverse crew
  • passionate about hospitality and serving guests
  • ability and flexibility to work 50-60 hours per week including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • ability to problem solve

  • ability to set goals and implement action plans

Job Duties

  • staff the restaurant timely with carefully selected team
  • ensure a safe environment for team members and guests
  • oversee orientation and onboarding
  • develop and execute shift leader and performance plans
  • make final hiring and separation decisions
  • create team member schedules considering availability and payroll
  • own overall team performance
  • create and maintain a positive restaurant culture
  • audit operations and develop improvement solutions
  • understand budget and cost trends
  • create business plans and perform financial analysis
  • control cash, property, product, and equipment
  • build sales and control labor and food costs
  • meet targets set by leadership
  • maintain operational standards and company requirements
  • identify and communicate maintenance issues
  • ensure effective communication from district manager to team
  • coach and mentor team members
  • leverage restaurant support center
  • ensure all risk management complies with standards
