The 7Venture Stand Manager plays a crucial leadership role in this vibrant company. Starting with a base pay of $52,000 annually and the opportunity to participate in a quarterly bonus program, this full-time role requires a passionate individual dedicated to driving the growth and profitable operation of their assigned 7 Brew location. The Stand Manager not only leads the crew but also ensures the preservation of the company's culture, mission, and values. They are deeply involved in every aspect of the location—from coaching and training team members to performing administrative duties and overseeing day-to-day operations. Reporting directly to the District Manager, the Stand Manager must maintain excellence in customer service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. They are responsible for creating work schedules that fit their team’s availability while balancing labor costs, managing inventory, handling cash responsibly, and ensuring all health and safety standards are upheld. With a focus on developing future leaders, the Stand Manager is accountable for hiring, firing, and managing disciplinary actions related to their team members. Communication with upper management is essential, along with the delegation of tasks to maximize efficiency and foster team development. This role requires a combination of strong leadership capabilities, operational know-how, and a genuine passion for coffee and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must have and keep a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to two minutes
  • Ability to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products
  • Ability to work outside for prolonged periods regardless of weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand comfortably for hours
  • Ability to climb and use a ladder and stepladder
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean
  • Ability to safely walk between and around cars in the drive-thru line
  • Ability to quickly and cleanly operate any position during peak hours
  • Ability to maintain awareness of shift operations while working a position

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment with 40+ team members
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and email
  • Ability to effectively lead and direct multiple personality types under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in stressful situations
  • Effective management of multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to assertively and graciously confront coworkers to address operational, procedural, or cultural issues
  • Leadership skills focused on developing others and maintaining team morale

Job Duties

  • Become proficient in all Brewista and Shift Lead duties and skill sets
  • Maintain excellent wait times, cleanliness, and customer interactions through training, coaching, and encouragement
  • Provide regular feedback to each team member on strengths and areas of growth
  • Create a weekly shift schedule based on crew needs and availability while maintaining budgeted labor costs and ensuring quick wait times
  • Track and order necessary inventory, small wares, parts, and equipment while minimizing waste and maintaining low cost of goods sold
  • Ensure appropriate cash handling, deposits, and change management
  • Work in a self-sufficient manner and involve the district coach as needed
  • Ensure crew compliance with all health and safety requirements
  • Develop new leaders within the team for future roles
  • Implement and communicate directives from upper management promptly
  • Delegate tasks thoughtfully to leadership team and Brewistas to facilitate efficiency and development
  • Responsible for hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions related to shift leads and baristas
