The Club Manager at OneLife Fitness plays a critical role in managing and leading the daily operations of the fitness club. This full-time leadership position involves overseeing all aspects of club performance, including memberships, personal training sales, program participation, and financial goals. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team, fostering an environment that champions safety, cleanliness, and an outstanding guest experience that aligns with the company’s brand values.

In this role, the Club Manager is responsible for coaching, hiring, and developing department heads and staff while holding accountability for hitting monthly and annual budgets. Operational excellence is essential, including managing club finances such as payroll, deposits, and expense control. The manager will be hands-on, spending peak hours interacting with members on the sales floor, converting prospects, and ensuring high-touch member service. They will also address member and staff concerns promptly and professionally, adhering to safety protocols and employee standards.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years management experience in a club or hospitality environment
  • CPR/AED certification required
  • Comfortable with managing profit and loss, payroll, and reporting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to coach and motivate a team
  • Excellent organizational skills under pressure

  • Proven people leader with 5+ years of management experience in a club or hospitality environment
  • Comfortable with profit and loss, payroll, and reporting
  • Strong sales instincts with ability to coach the team to win
  • Excellent communicator, organized, and able to remain upbeat under pressure
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or fitness preferred
  • Pool Operator license preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead, coach, hire and develop department heads and staff
  • Hit club performance targets including membership, personal training, and programs and own monthly and annual budgets
  • Create new revenue opportunities and manage expenses
  • Run daily operations including walkthroughs, deposits, payroll, reports, and facilities upkeep
  • Spend peak hours on the sales floor and front desk, convert tours, and support high-touch member service
  • Handle member and staff issues professionally and respond to member feedback within 48 hours
  • Ensure compliance with safety, emergency, and employee standards
  • Lead from the front
