This job posting is for an opportunity to join an independently owned and operated McDonald's restaurant franchise, separate from McDonald's USA corporate operations. The franchisee operates a McDonald's restaurant under a franchise agreement, offering all the values and services customers expect with the unique benefit of local leadership and management. The position available is for a General Manager role. The General Manager will be responsible for managing the overall profitability of the restaurant and ensuring the McDonald's critical standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness are met consistently. This role encompasses leadership responsibilities where the General Manager sets restaurant-wide goals in partnership with their leader and develops strategic plans to achieve these goals effectively. The General Manager plays a pivotal role in directing daily restaurant operations and ensuring that all Work Center Managers perform at their best.

This position requires a strong leader who can effectively lead a team of Department Managers. The General Manager’s duties include helping these managers set departmental goals, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and coaching to improve their respective departments. Improving department functionality directly contributes to the overall success of the restaurant. The role also involves recruiting, hiring, and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a capable team that can take the restaurant forward into the future with confidence and strong leadership.

Ideal candidates for this role bring previous General Manager experience, preferably in high-volume quick service restaurant environments. Experience in related fields such as hospitality or retail can also be beneficial. The role demands a candidate who is at least 18 years of age due to legal requirements for management positions within corporate-owned and operated McDonald's restaurants.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Previous experience as a general manager or equivalent leadership role
