We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead one of our Noodles & Company restaurants. This role is ideal for passionate individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy leading by example. As a Restaurant Manager for Hartford Noodles, LLC, you will be the driving force behind maintaining exceptional operational standards, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, and managing all aspects of the restaurant's performance. Your leadership will directly influence the success and culture of the restaurant, making a tangible impact on both the team and our customers.

In this role, you will apply your problem-solving skills and financial acumen to manage the restaurant's profit and loss (P&L), balancing labor and food costs while driving sales growth. You will be responsible for designing and implementing action plans that promote company initiatives and uphold the core values of Noodles & Company. A key component of your leadership is fostering a friendly, exemplary, and collaborative work environment where team members feel inspired and supported to deliver outstanding service to every guest.

Your daily responsibilities will include delegating tasks, coaching staff, and constantly seeking improvements in food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness. You will monitor staffing levels, ensure compliance with operational policies including cash handling and safety protocols, and analyze performance reports to identify trends and areas for enhancement. By soliciting guest feedback and actively engaging with the community, you will help tailor the guest experience to exceed expectations consistently.

This managerial position requires an individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team through positive leadership. You will play a critical role in training and developing culinary and service staff, fostering a productive team environment, and celebrating successes to boost morale and retention.

Job Duties

  • Plan, identify, communicate and delegate responsibilities to managers and team members to ensure excellent operations are consistently achieved
  • Manage with integrity and knowledge that promotes the culture and beliefs of Noodles & Company
  • Lead the implementation of company initiatives by developing action plans and motivating and instructing the team on implementation plans
  • Provide direction to the team in order to achieve restaurant goals
  • Consistently review restaurant operations to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
  • Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensure all team members engage guests to exceed expectations
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members and managers and assess performance on an ongoing basis
  • Manage and motivate team members through positive and respectful leadership
  • Manage the restaurant to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety and cleanliness
  • Consistently monitor and manage restaurant staffing levels to ensure capable and developed team members
  • Follow operational policy and procedures, including cash handling and safety/security, to ensure safety
  • Lead a positive team environment by recognizing and reinforcing accomplishments
  • Analyze relevant reports to identify and address trends and issues in performance
  • Use tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence
  • Solicit guest feedback to understand needs
  • Generate sales growth by delivering positive experiences and executing local marketing
  • Manage restaurant P&L by tracking expenses, budget, variances and corrective actions
  • Control labor and food costs through daily management and supervision
  • Train and coach team members in culinary and service principles
  • Create a positive dining experience by ensuring exceptional guest service
  • Must adhere to appearance standards
