Job Description
U.S. Lawns is a leading provider in the lawn care and landscaping industry, operating as a system of independently owned and operated franchisees across the United States. Known for its commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction, U.S. Lawns offers comprehensive lawn care solutions including maintenance, landscaping, and seasonal services tailored to residential and commercial clients. Each franchise operates independently, allowing them to cater specialized services that meet local climate and client needs while maintaining the strong brand identity and support system of U.S. Lawns. The company has built its reputation on fostering community relationships, delivering reliable service, and implementing eco-friendly landscaping practices that sustain and enhance outdoor environments.
The role in question involves significant leadership responsibilities in a franchise office setting, tasked with managing financial oversight, client relations, employee supervision, and safety compliance. This position requires an individual with strong managerial capabilities to oversee all key business operations including budgeting, accounts receivable, profit and loss monitoring, and cash flow understanding. As the primary client contact, responsibility extends to maintaining client communication protocols, managing client satisfaction surveys, participating in client-focused activities, and establishing budgets for maintenance and enhancements.
Employee management forms a core part of this role, with duties involving the development and implementation of recruiting strategies, supervisory training, coordination between field and office personnel, and initiatives aimed at boosting crew morale. Safety management responsibilities include ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards including OSHA regulations, acting as or supervising the branch Safety Officer, and managing hazardous communication programs and material safety data sheets. This multifaceted role requires a blend of financial acumen, client management skills, leadership in human resources, and safety compliance knowledge, providing a comprehensive managerial experience in the landscaping service industry.
It is important to note that employment opportunities within U.S. Lawns are offered by independent franchise owners rather than U.S. Lawns, Inc. directly. Candidates applying for positions acknowledge that employment decisions are made independently by franchisees, and that U.S. Lawns, Inc. holds no employment liabilities for these decisions. U.S. Lawns prides itself on being an Equal Opportunity Employer, promoting diversity and inclusion throughout its franchises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking to advance their career in a dynamic, service-oriented industry with a focus on community engagement and environmental stewardship.
