Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-6 years leadership experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Good vision and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • Compliance with safety and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance and administer rewards or disciplinary actions including terminations
  • Resolve employee complaints and operational problems
  • Shape and maintain a positive restaurant culture with high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure their success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a warm, friendly atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to the team
  • Occasionally assist with category job duties
  • Lead sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover and sales per guest and hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • Maintain operational efficiency, cost controls, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness
  • Control cash, inventory, and food and labor costs
  • Manage P&L and optimize schedules
  • Maintain restaurant equipment and company assets
  • Perform additional assigned duties
