Managing employee relations is also a central part of this position, including hiring, promotions, payroll processing, and documentation compliant with federal and state laws. Performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and maintenance of personnel files are conducted professionally to foster a motivated and legally compliant workforce. The Manager also oversees building and equipment maintenance through preventive systems to ensure operational reliability.

Job Duties

  • Work the front counter to ensure quality service
  • Check product quality and assure availability
  • Effectively train and coach employees on customer courtesy and complaint handling
  • Conduct team and management meetings for planning, training, and operational reviews
  • Develop and maintain sales using local store marketing
  • Monitor utilities, supplies, and cost categories to minimize expenses
  • Analyze Profit and Loss statements and take corrective actions
  • Control restaurant inventory using established systems
  • Develop and post labor schedules based on sales volume
  • Manage restaurant cash control including daily bank deposits
  • Follow Cash Handling Procedures
  • Report accidents and incidents to Risk Management promptly
  • Maintain safe work environment and achieve high Health Department rating
  • Ensure restaurant cleanliness, uniform compliance and image standards
  • Inform District Manager of hiring, promotions, and employee status changes
  • Process payroll and maintain applicant tracking
  • Conduct performance reviews and document disciplinary actions
  • Maintain personnel files in accordance with laws
  • Utilize preventive maintenance for building and equipment
  • Attend District Manager meetings for planning and training
  • Perform required administrative paperwork
