This particular role centers around managing one of the restaurants, serving as the critical leader who ensures operational excellence and a memorable guest experience. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years restaurant/retail experience and two years of management experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and situations with skill and discretion
  • Ability to make guests smile uncontrollably

  • Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work necessary hours
  • We find that a typical work week for GMs is 47.5 hours
  • Our expectation is that you work additional hours as needed to ensure that your restaurant thrives
  • Position may require walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling or moving objects up to 55 pounds
  • Certain other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable in a standard kitchen/restaurant environment

Job Duties

  • Plan, identify, communicate and delegate responsibilities to managers and team members to ensure excellent operations are consistently achieved
  • Manage with integrity and knowledge that promotes the culture and beliefs of Noodles & Company
  • Lead the implementation of company initiatives by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the team on the implementation plans
  • Provide direction to the team in order to achieve restaurant goals
  • Consistently review restaurant operations to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
  • Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all team members engage in conversations with guests to understand their needs and exceed their expectations
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members and managers and assess performance on an ongoing basis
