Job Description

The hiring establishment is a hotel operating under a recognized brand, committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence and profitability. This hotel emphasizes a team-oriented environment, driven by a culture of service-minded personnel who are eager to exceed guest expectations through attentive and friendly interactions. As an integral part of the hospitality industry, the hotel takes pride in its adherence to brand standards, cleanliness, maintenance, and employee development to ensure that guests enjoy a memorable stay in a professionally maintained and inviting setting.

The Supervisor is responsible for the effective leadership and management of all hotel operations, including sales and marketing initiatives, community and guest relations, record keeping, staffing, and adherence to brand standards. This leadership position requires a proactive approach to managing resources and operations, overseeing compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the property.

The Supervisor must foster a positive team environment characterized by professionalism and a strong commitment to service excellence. They will lead by example, maintaining a polished appearance and demeanor while motivating staff to uphold the highest standards of guest service. Responsibilities also include handling guest complaints with professionalism and courtesy, problem-solving effectively, and multi-tasking across various operational aspects to meet hotel objectives. The position expects an exempt status employee who dedicates adequate hours beyond the standard workweek as necessary to fulfill job duties fully.

Financial acumen is crucial, as the Supervisor will collaborate with Revenue Managers and Directors of Sales to analyze rate structures, group bookings, and events to maximize revenue. They will track budget compliance meticulously across various cost centers such as breakfast, linen, cleaning supplies, and guest room amenities. This role also involves managing accounts receivable, timely invoice processing, payroll accuracy, and monthly financial reporting.

Additional duties encompass enforcing safety and loss prevention policies, conducting regular staff meetings to oversee training completion, and maintaining the hotel’s physical property through inspections and scheduled maintenance. The Supervisor ensures the hotel remains professionally staffed at all times and conducts employee performance evaluations punctually. Through continuous community engagement and active participation in local business affairs, the Supervisor will enhance the hotel’s market presence and client base.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals who are eager to grow their management careers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
