This position focuses on the profitable operation of a Burger King restaurant within corporate standards and guidelines. The role is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant functions including cost control, customer service, employee development, and building sales. The restaurant manager plays a critical role in ensuring consistent food quality, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and implementing marketing initiatives to stimulate local store sales. Leadership and administrative skills are essential, as the manager coordinates staffing, scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, and training efforts to uphold company policies and standards. Experience with inventory control, labor management, cash handling, and profit and loss analysis is vital. The successful candidate will also be adept at solving operational challenges, fostering a positive team culture, and driving continuous improvement in both customer experience and restaurant profitability.

The restaurant manager must comply with all food safety and workplace safety regulations, ensuring the restaurant attains the highest possible health department ratings. Regular coordination with District Management is required to align restaurant operations with corporate objectives, participate in meetings, and implement necessary changes. This role demands a flexible schedule with the availability to work diverse shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support the 24/7 nature of the business.

The compensation for this position includes a salary commensurate with experience, incentive bonuses based on performance and profitability, and benefits aligned with company standards. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening as prerequisites. This role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, ServSafe certification, and prior restaurant experience is preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills are essential for success.

Job Duties

  • Work the front counter to ensure quality service
  • Check product quality and communicate with customers
  • Train and coach employees on courtesy and complaint handling

  • Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions
  • Maintain personnel files and required postings
  • Utilize preventive maintenance systems
  • Attend District Manager meetings
  • Complete administrative paperwork
