In client management, they will serve as the primary point of contact, maintain detailed client communication logs, and implement client feedback programs to continually enhance service quality. Employee management duties involve developing recruitment strategies, providing supervisory training, and fostering crew morale through engagement initiatives. Safety management is a critical component of the job, requiring strict adherence to all local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and management of hazardous communication programs and material safety data sheets.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in landscaping or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial documents
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA and safety compliance
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Responsible for all budgets: labor, material, admin
  • Manage account receivables
  • Review monthly reports, and understand the P and L
  • Understand cash flow
  • Establishes and maintains a client contact log
  • Maintains client survey program
  • Primary client contact person
  • Establishes maintenance and enhancement budgets with clients
  • Participates in local client driven activities
  • Develops and implements recruiting strategy
  • Performs supervisory training for key employees
  • Coordinates and communicates concerns between field and office
  • Responsible for crew morale, and develops morale boosters
  • Responsible for compliance with all safety programs
  • Acts as or supervises Branch Safety Officer
  • Monitors local state and federal safety laws, including OSHA
  • Responsible for the Hazcom program, and MSDS sheets for shop and vehicles requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
