Crestline Hotels & Resorts, a reputable hospitality management company, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of this bustling property. The General Manager will be charged with the ultimate mission of providing strategic leadership and delivering unparalleled customer service to ensure the hotel's continued success and growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead one of Crestline’s multi-million dollar business units by balancing visionary strategic planning with hands-on management in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The ideal candidate for this position will be adept at fostering a cohesive and motivated team, maximizing each associate’s potential to provide exceptional guest experiences. A primary focus will be on maintaining and expanding the hotel’s market share, especially by capturing new prospects and outperforming competitors in the surrounding area. The General Manager will be expected to develop strong working relationships with hotel ownership, key leadership teams, corporate staff, and sales personnel to align operational goals and customer service initiatives.

Key to success in this role will be the ability to drive improvements in Crestline’s key performance measures: Revenue Index, Flex/Flow, and Guest Satisfaction scores. The General Manager must also exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure all newly hired and current leaders are equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to excel within their roles. Building positive relationships with sales staff and corporate sales and marketing leadership is crucial for effective promotion and revenue optimization.

This full-time leadership role requires a minimum of five years of General Manager experience within a busy full-service or conference center hotel. Candidates must possess strong computer and office skills, including proficiency in hotel information systems and accounting software pertinent to the brand. Experience working with premium hotel brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, or IHG is highly preferred. Job Requirements

  • Previous five plus years of general manager experience within a busy full service or conference center hotel required
  • computer and office skills required
  • must have the ability to communicate effectively through email as well as manipulate and decipher information quickly from spreadsheets and databases
  • experience with hotel information systems and accounting systems pertinent to the brand
  • premium brand experience highly preferred
