As a General Manager at Camping World, you will be responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels through precise management systems and ensuring the dealership operates within budgetary guidelines. Additionally, the role includes managing profit and loss statements, implementing cost controls, and promoting an outstanding customer service culture within the store.
The position requires selecting, coaching, and developing staff to enhance their skills and contribute to the overall success of the dealership. The ideal candidate for this role will bring previous management experience in profit center leadership, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit professional behavior while effectively resolving challenges. A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this role, alongside the physical ability to lift and move certain weights and perform various physical activities.
Compensation for the General Manager role ranges between $140,000 and $275,000 annually, including base pay and variable compensation, depending on factors such as skill set, experience, training, licensure, and other organizational requirements. Job Requirements
- valid driver’s license required
- may lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
- periods of standing stooping crawling and bending
- experience managing a profit center
