Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- minimum two years of restaurant management experience, QSR preferred
- ability to work a minimum five day workweek with four closing shifts or guaranteed four day workweek
- willingness to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
- knowledge of recruiting and selection practices
- understanding of federal, state labor laws and local health regulations
- leadership and supervisory skills
- basic accounting and computer proficiency
- ability to follow directions and work independently
- effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- willingness to comply with SONIC appearance, uniform and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- advanced studies in business or restaurant management preferred
- minimum two years of restaurant management experience, preferably QSR
- strong leadership and supervisory skills
- knowledge of federal and state labor laws
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- basic accounting and computer skills
- problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- experience in recruiting, interviewing and selection
- ability to multitask and work autonomously
Job Duties
- Manages, trains, monitors and coaches crew and team members, carhops and skating carhops
- directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to ensure all food service meets operational standards
- adheres to and monitors employee compliance with policies and procedures
- performs restaurant opening and closing duties
- prepares employee work schedules and adjusts staffing levels
- monitors and maintains inventory levels and places orders within cost control procedures
- maintains employment and payroll records
- reinforces a customer service mentality and resolves guest requests promptly
- interviews and hires restaurant crew and management team members
- prepares operational reports and develops action plans to address financial and sales trends
- develops and implements marketing plans
