The General Manager role at ARC Burger is pivotal to the restaurant’s success, serving as the cornerstone for operational efficiency, employee engagement, and financial performance. Reporting to the District Manager, the General Manager is responsible for managing all areas of the restaurant operations, including supervising Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members. The General Manager is entrusted with executing the business plan established for the restaurant, driving initiatives that promote customer satisfaction, staff development, and operational excellence.

In this full-time position, the General Manager will take charge of recruiting and hiring staff to build a competent and motivated team, maintaining a talent pipeline for future growth opportunities within the organization. They will oversee the proper execution of marketing initiatives, including the correct installation of point-of-purchase (POP) displays and menu boards, to boost brand visibility and sales. Additionally, the General Manager ensures the restaurant is optimally staffed and that team members receive comprehensive training through effective programs designed to elevate their skills and performance.

The day-to-day responsibilities include inventory management, equipment maintenance with approved vendors, and adherence to operational standards as outlined in the company’s manual. The role demands a hands-on approach, as the General Manager sets the example by maintaining proficiency in all aspects of restaurant operations and technology. Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years management experience in a quick service dining concept
  • financial and analytical aptitude including planning budgeting scheduling and P&L management
  • valid driver's license
  • excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills
  • ability to operate and use restaurant equipment
  • strong conflict resolution skills
  • self-motivated with excellent organizational planning and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Recruit and hire staff
  • ensure all marketing plans are executed including proper installation of POP and menu board elements
  • ensure restaurant is staffed properly and team members are properly trained
  • provide leadership creating excitement enthusiasm positive mental attitude and commitment
  • maintain correct inventory levels and ensure equipment is well maintained
  • maintain excellent working knowledge of restaurant operations and technology
  • supervise in accordance with established performance and operating policies
  • motivate assistant managers shift leaders and crew members
  • review preliminary P&L statements and communicate with the District Manager
  • adhere to all HR sanitation safety and security policies
