Job Description

Arby's is a well-known fast food restaurant chain specializing in roast beef sandwiches and a wide variety of American fast-food classics. The company is rooted in a commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and an environment where both employees and customers can thrive. Known for its signature curly fries and distinctive menu offerings, Arby's continues to expand its footprint in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry. The organization upholds six core values: Dream Big, Work Hard, Get it Done, Play Fair, Have Fun, and Make a Difference. These values are the guiding principles for building a positive culture that fosters teamwork, development, and growth opportunities for employees at all levels.

The role of a General Manager at Arby's is a pivotal leadership position critical to the success of each restaurant location. As the head of the restaurant, the General Manager leads the Restaurant Management Team and oversees the daily operations ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and top-quality food. This role demands someone who possesses strong business acumen, especially around profit and loss (P&L) management, staffing, training, and employee engagement. In this position, you are expected to lead the restaurant as if it were your own business. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding leadership skills by recruiting, training, and retaining a dedicated team to achieve sales and profit goals.

Beyond managing operations, the General Manager role involves fostering a positive work environment that aligns with Arby's values and culture. You will be responsible for driving performance improvement initiatives, resolving conflicts positively, maintaining high standards for customer service, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines. Arby's is proud to invest in their team members by offering paid training, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package that supports employees and their families. The role is designed to provide a career path with clear opportunities for advancement and development within the organization.

Joining Arby's means becoming part of a company that values its people and offers a work-life balance with flexible scheduling options. The restaurant environment can be physically demanding, so candidates must be prepared for this aspect of the job. If you have a passion for the restaurant industry, a talent for leadership, and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced setting, the General Manager role at Arby's offers an exciting and rewarding career opportunity with a focus on growth, teamwork, and positive impact in the community.
