This role requires a hands-on leader who will motivate and lead a team of front desk sales associates, coaches, and trainers to create a high-engagement culture aligned with the companys core values of service, motivation, and member success. As the face of Pump24, the General Manager is also tasked with growing membership through effective sales strategies, managing retention programs tailored to a 24/7 operational model, and addressing member concerns professionally and promptly.\n\nBeyond people management, the General Manager will maintain operational excellence by ensuring the clubs cleanliness, safety, and facility readiness, complying with health and safety regulations, and managing class schedules and fitness programming to satisfy member demands. Financial stewardship is also essential, with duties including managing budgets, monitoring performance KPIs, and identifying new revenue opportunities through programs, workshops, or community partnerships.\n\nFacility and equipment management are key components, requiring the General Manager to oversee equipment maintenance, schedule preventative upkeep, and maintain inventory levels. Additionally, the role supports marketing efforts to build the Pump24 brand through local initiatives, community engagement, and social media campaigns, strengthening member engagement via events, challenges, and promotional campaigns. \n\nThis full-time position offers a competitive salary plus bonus incentives based on club performance. Additional opportunities include earning as a fitness coach and personal trainer, with the chance to train clients during and outside regular business hours. Employees are eligible for 401k benefits following 90 days of active employment. The role demands flexibility for working early mornings, evenings, and weekends to sustain Pump24s high standards of service and operational excellence in a fast-paced fitness environment. Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business, sports management, exercise science, or related field preferred
  • 2-3+ years of leadership experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or a related customer-facing industry
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, operations management, and staff supervision
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of fitness center operations, membership sales, and training programs
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, KPIs, and revenue target
  • Maintain a work week of a minimum of 40 hours
  • Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
  • Ability to train PT clients during regularly scheduled shifts with ability to train unlimited clients outside of core business hours and on weekends

Job Duties

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise front desk sales associates
  • While on-site oversee coaches and trainers
  • Maintain a high-engagement culture aligned with Pump24s values of service, motivation, and member success
  • Conduct coaching sessions, performance evaluations, and ongoing staff training initiatives
  • Drive membership growth through effective sales strategies, lead management, and community outreach
  • Monitor retention metrics and implement member engagement programs tailored to Pump24s 24/7 model
  • Ensure an exceptional experience for all members by addressing concerns swiftly and professionally
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations to uphold Pump24s standards for cleanliness, safety, and facility readiness
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal operational policies
  • Manage class schedules, personal training offerings, and fitness programming to meet member demand
  • Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and performance targets, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and performance KPIs, taking corrective action when needed
  • Identify opportunities for new revenue streams, including programs, workshops, or partnerships aligned with Pump24s brand
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, safe, and available for member use
  • Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate with vendors for repairs or equipment upgrades
  • Maintain inventory levels for supplies and operational materials
  • Collaborate on or execute local marketing initiatives, promotions, and social media engagement to grow the Pump24 brand
  • Build connections with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to enhance visibility and drive traffic
  • Support in-club events, challenges, and campaigns that strengthen member engagement
