This role entails overseeing a designated area within the facility, implementing business plans aimed at meeting operational objectives, and effectively managing staff schedules, duties, and workloads. The manager will play a key role in identifying and resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns by engaging in active listening and consultation, ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld, and training associates on company policies and logistics procedures. The manager is also responsible for supervising and developing team members by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and supporting training initiatives. This leadership position requires a blend of expertise in warehouse operations, staff development, budget management, and problem-solving in a dynamic environment. The role demands flexibility with shift times, including availability on weekends and holidays, and offers a salary that reflects education, experience, and skills, along with quarterly performance-based incentives. Job Requirements
- Flexible with shift start times and days including weekends and holidays
- ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- warehousing, logistics, supply chain or third party experience preferred
- BS/BA degree or Associate degree with equivalent experience is a plus but not required

- Management and leadership experience in an industrial setting
- ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates
- strong organization and prioritization skills
- ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- decision-making and problem-solving skills in a warehouse environment
- budget management experience including P&L interpretation
- proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- excellent numerical aptitude while multitasking
- interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- proven record in employee supervision including hiring and termination
Job Duties
- Implement the business plan for assigned area by managing staffing and scheduling
