The General Manager at Wingstop holds a critical leadership role responsible for both strategic and tactical management of a restaurant's operations. Financial management is an essential aspect of the role, including auditing operational elements, understanding budgets, controlling costs, and driving business metrics. They perform detailed financial analyses and create business plans that align with operational targets. The General Manager is accountable for managing cash, property, product, and equipment, ensuring all resources are utilized optimally.

Operational excellence is maintained by adhering to Wingstop’s standards, communicating effectively across the organization, and addressing facility maintenance needs. The General Manager leverages company tools and support centers to coach and develop high-performing teams. This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, with some college education preferred. Candidates must possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems. The role typically requires working 50 to 60 hours per week, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate has five or more years of supervisory experience in food service or retail and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. This is a full-time role focused on fostering an engaging workplace culture and delivering top-tier guest experiences while meeting all financial and operational goals.

Job Duties

  • Staff the restaurant with carefully selected team
  • Ensure a safe environment for team members and guests

  • Own the performance and culture of the entire team
