As a company, Classic Collision boasts a supportive team culture focused on continuous training and career advancement, offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, company-matched 401(k), and paid time off with six paid holidays. The organization operates on a strong foundation of respect, customer service excellence, innovation, and teamwork, making it a desirable workplace for professionals committed to growth and excellence in collision repair and management.
The Collision General Manager role at Classic Collision offers an exciting opportunity to lead the operations of an assigned collision repair center, ensuring that it meets and exceeds financial goals and customer satisfaction standards. This full-time position provides a salary range of $75,000 to $120,000 depending on experience, with bonus opportunities that can add up to half of the annual salary—rewarding top performance and leadership. The General Manager is tasked with overseeing all aspects of the center's performance, including key metrics, operational quality, staff development, and fostering strong business relationships with insurers, dealers, and clients. As a leader, the General Manager mentors their direct reports, maintaining a high standard of accountability and promoting a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities include actively leading the center to achieve optimal performance through adherence to established procedures, managing change effectively within the operation, and staying current with the latest vehicle repair technologies and standards. Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff members is a vital part of this leadership role, as is coordinating continuous training and coaching to enhance employee skills and ensure exceptional service delivery. The General Manager plays a critical role in customer satisfaction by resolving concerns and cultivating long-term relationships. Marketing initiatives and external team-building activities also fall within the scope of the position, supporting broader company growth and community presence.
Ideal candidates will have at least five years of collision repair or auto body management experience, a strong background in financial management including the ability to read and interpret Profit & Loss statements, and proven leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Technical proficiency with CCC One estimating and management software and advanced Microsoft Office skills are required. ICAR Platinum certification is preferred, underscoring the company’s commitment to the highest standards of repair expertise. The role requires up to 25 percent travel and a valid driver’s license with eligibility for insurance coverage. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity consistent with automotive shop environments.
Classic Collision promotes a culture of integrity, customer service excellence, innovation, and teamwork. It values diversity and inclusivity, operating as an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to accommodating individuals with disabilities. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and is passionate about leading a successful collision repair operation that upholds the highest industry standards and customer care.
