The Restaurant Manager position is a dynamic and leadership-intensive role responsible for the overall management and success of a single Dunkin' restaurant location. This role demands a leader who can inspire and motivate a diverse team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational standards at the highest level. Reporting directly to the Multi-Unit Manager and Franchisee, the Restaurant Manager will manage all facets of restaurant operations including staff recruitment, training, supervision, and development, as well as inventory control, cash management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The Restaurant Manager will foster a guest-focused culture, ensuring each customer feels welcomed and valued, which in turn drives positive reviews and repeat business.
This role involves hands-on leadership, requiring the manager to perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members to lead by example. Operational duties include overseeing daily opening and closing procedures, managing vendor orders to keep the restaurant well-stocked, and conducting self-assessments on food safety and brand standard compliance. The manager will also develop and implement strategies to boost operational efficiency and profitability, such as reducing waste and controlling food and labor costs. Job Duties
- Able to perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise restaurant team members including shift leaders, team members, bakers and other support staff
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, providing coaching and feedback and resolving conflicts
- Implement training programs to enhance team member skills and performance
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, professionalism, and adherence to company values
- Oversee day-to-day operations including opening and closing procedures, cash management, inventory control, and following of brand standards and systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and sanitation standards
