Job Requirements
- Team player with a sense of humor
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must demonstrate good math and communication skills
- Minimum 3 years experience as a salaried manager in full service or fast casual restaurant
- Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching, directing and motivating a team
- Exposure to profit and loss and sales building highly desirable
- Must be able to lift 30lbs frequently and up to 80lbs occasionally
- Responsible for utilizing office and restaurant equipment
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk the entire workday
- Must be able to work under high degree of physical, mental and emotional stress
- Must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and make timely decisions

Job Duties
- Works with Head Trainer to ensure training materials are consistently and effectively used in team member training
- Upholds GM training promises
- Coaches, trains and develops restaurant team in all work areas
- Provides tools, education and experience to perform job descriptions to standards
- Ensures new team members attend orientation and sets up certified trainers
- Follows up with team members and trainers and maintains accurate training records
- Supports manager-in-training program
- Analyzes own strengths and weaknesses and develops self-improvement plans
- Supports leadership team development
- Delivers profitability by managing cost of goods and labor productivity
- Meets food and labor cost goals and ensures no unauthorized overtime
- Holds Kitchen Manager accountable for product, labor and operating goals
- Prepares accurate financial information and checks invoices
- Conducts weekly inventories and executes action plans
- Leads budget development, projections, goals and business plans
- Controls daily safe, POS system and conducts audits
- Makes accurate bank deposits
- Ensures security practices
- Supports leadership team in financial management
- Follows administrative guidelines and maintains accurate records
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring and final hiring decisions
- Maintains personnel files and conducts performance reviews
- Completes new hire forms and payroll records
- Develops schedules matching sales forecasts
- Manages disciplinary actions
- Completes administrative duties timely
- Promotes company culture and stays informed of marketing and competitive issues
- Supports company initiatives and marketing programs
- Creates sales building plans

- Ensures food is prepared according to standards and food safety procedures
