Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in restaurant management
- Ability to coordinate foodservice operations
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to handle financial transactions and budget monitoring
- Valid driver’s license
- Personal vehicle with insurance
- Working telephone
- Ability to stand and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- ServSafe Food and Alcohol certifications
- Ability to operate a computer system
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in restaurant management or foodservice coordination
- Knowledge of food and beverage cost estimation and inventory management
- Strong leadership and staff training skills
- Excellent customer service and complaint resolution abilities
- Proficiency in budget monitoring and financial transaction review
- Familiarity with health, safety, and Responsible Vendor policies
- Ability to operate computer systems
- Current valid driver’s license
- ServSafe Food and Alcohol certifications
Job Duties
- Coordinate foodservice activities of restaurant
- Estimate food and beverage costs and purchase supplies, equipment, and food and beverages
- Oversee cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities
- Ensure that all health and safety standards are adhered to
- Direct hiring, assignments, motivation, evaluation, discipline, and termination of employees
- Ensure all employees are properly trained and follow procedures
- Investigate and resolve food and beverage quality and service complaints
- Review financial transactions and monitor budgets to ensure efficient operation and expenditures stay within budget limitations
- Monitor the use of restaurant supplies and ensure minimal loss and waste
- Supervise cleaning of restaurant and equipment
- Arrange for repair of restaurant equipment
- Coordinate employee work schedules
- Inspect inventory, order, receive, stock products, and record invoices
- Document daily events in the Red Book
- Inform employees of promotions, business trends, and safety issues
- Handle emergencies and report to Area Director
- Approve voids, comps, time edits, and prepare daily deposits
- Drive to the bank and maintain cash banks
- Unlock and lock restaurant entrances securely
- Ensure employees adhere to dress code and safety policies
- Operate computer systems
- Stand and exhibit fast-paced mobility throughout shifts
- Maintain valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Maintain ServSafe Food and Alcohol certifications
