Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Must exhibit a positive can-do attitude

  • Must be proficient with financial information and basic arithmetic

  • Must be proficient in using Windows OS and company-approved software
  • Must be attentive to detail and able to meet deadlines

  • Must be knowledgeable about hospitality and guest service standards
  • Must be able to handle stressful and high-pressure situations
  • Must possess basic market knowledge
  • Must have a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
  • Must have experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work together with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
  • Support all group events and hotel activities
  • Understand and use relevant technology for the role
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service and approved greetings
  • Keep all workspaces spotless and well-organized, front and back of house
  • Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests with a smile and by name while cleaning
  • Complete all operational checklists with 100% accuracy at designated times
  • Ensure timely and accurate shift handover reports
  • Maintain flawless uniform standards and grooming
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to support business needs
  • Foster collaboration to create a positive workplace environment
  • Conduct daily supervision including walkthroughs of guest rooms and public areas
  • Ensure all mechanical equipment is in working order
  • Oversee onboarding of new team members
  • Ensure compliance with daily summary and night audit processes
  • Start and complete shift handover reports and upload daily reports
  • Conduct quality assurance in alignment with brand standards
  • Enforce the adherence to uniform and smile standards
  • Certify all fire and life safety inspections are current and corrected
  • Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are completed and checked
  • Manage staff adherence to work schedules and shift allocation
  • Build a culture of learning and safety
  • Ensure staff training and expertise for their roles
  • Communicate growth opportunities and career paths
  • Provide daily feedback with candor and positivity
  • Review team member time clock punches daily
  • Manage purchase order processes and invoice sign-offs
  • Maintain clean storage areas and follow inventory program
