Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Previous general manager experience is essential
- Ability to work flexible shifts and varying hours
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to physically perform job duties including standing and walking frequently
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Local market knowledge preferred
Job Qualifications
- Previous general manager experience
- Strong hotel management background
- Experience in sales and marketing
- Knowledge of revenue management and financial controls
- Proven ability to build and develop effective teams
- Ability to inspire and coach staff to deliver exceptional service
- Strong owner relations skills
- Hospitality industry passion
- Food and beverage experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including sales and marketing, human resources, food and beverage, budget and forecast management, rooms, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Provide leadership and strategic vision to inspire associates and drive exceptional service
- Manage day-to-day staff operations ensuring alignment with company culture and goals
- Develop and implement successful sales and marketing campaigns to increase revenue
- Ensure strong financial controls to drive profitability
- Build and maintain effective owner relations partnerships
- Foster a dynamic and motivated team environment
