Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant years of experience
  • minimum three years' experience as a General Manager in an upper-up scale or boutique-lifestyle hotel
  • proficiency in English
  • adaptable interpersonal skills
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • strong analytical and leadership abilities
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • previous General Manager experience in a full-service hotel for at least 3 years
  • experience with boutique or lifestyle hotel companies preferred
  • proficiency in English reading, writing, and verbal communication
  • adaptable interpersonal skills to represent the hotel to various stakeholders
  • strong analytical skills and ability to present well-reasoned recommendations
  • ability to build rapport and adapt communication for diverse audiences
  • collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • strong leadership and influence skills
  • integrity and discretion in decision-making

Job Duties

  • Collaborate frequently with headquarters for support, clarification, direction, approval and potential risks
  • take ownership of short and long-term profitability of the hotel
  • act as the mayor of the neighborhood by creating relationships within the local community
  • attract and select qualified, on-brand talent and develop and coach associates for advancement
  • reinforce the company’s ideologies to ensure experiences of translocal hospitality, intuitive service, and collaboration
  • create a Food + Beverage driven environment ensuring restaurant concepts are locally sourced and of high quality
  • encourage employees to use their best judgment to create authentic guest experiences
  • respond urgently to guest feedback and maintain high employee engagement
  • ensure executive team achieves quarterly incentives by driving key metrics
  • measure effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts to diversify revenue sources
