- Bachelor’s degree or relevant years of experience
- minimum three years' experience as a General Manager in an upper-up scale or boutique-lifestyle hotel
- proficiency in English
- adaptable interpersonal skills
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- strong analytical and leadership abilities
- ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- previous General Manager experience in a full-service hotel for at least 3 years
- experience with boutique or lifestyle hotel companies preferred
- proficiency in English reading, writing, and verbal communication
- adaptable interpersonal skills to represent the hotel to various stakeholders
- strong analytical skills and ability to present well-reasoned recommendations
- ability to build rapport and adapt communication for diverse audiences
- collaborative approach to problem-solving
- strong leadership and influence skills
- integrity and discretion in decision-making
Job Duties
- Collaborate frequently with headquarters for support, clarification, direction, approval and potential risks
- take ownership of short and long-term profitability of the hotel
- act as the mayor of the neighborhood by creating relationships within the local community
- attract and select qualified, on-brand talent and develop and coach associates for advancement
- reinforce the company’s ideologies to ensure experiences of translocal hospitality, intuitive service, and collaboration
- create a Food + Beverage driven environment ensuring restaurant concepts are locally sourced and of high quality
- encourage employees to use their best judgment to create authentic guest experiences
- respond urgently to guest feedback and maintain high employee engagement
- ensure executive team achieves quarterly incentives by driving key metrics
- measure effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts to diversify revenue sources
