Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4-6 years restaurant experience
  • prior leadership role experience
  • ability to work varied shifts and weekends
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations
  • physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • basic math and computer literacy
  • compliance with state alcohol service laws if applicable

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise employee performance
  • reward and discipline employees including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • foster a positive restaurant culture and high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to management team
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve service-related issues
  • maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost control and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • review financial reports and schedules and take appropriate actions
  • manage food cost by adhering to recipes and portion control
