Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hotel management or similar role
  • Strong financial acumen and revenue management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Must live within a 20-minute drive of the hotel
  • Ability to pass background checks and driver approval
  • Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel management software
  • Ability to maintain compliance with employment laws and hotel policies

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a general manager or in a leadership role within the hotel industry
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations including guest service, sales, marketing, and financial management
  • Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Skilled in budget preparation and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and brand requirements
  • Experience with staff training and performance management
  • Knowledge of local community and networking skills
  • Certification in food handling, CPR, and TIPS training preferred within 90 days
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
