Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication
  • Understanding of profit and loss analysis and cash controls
  • Ability to solve complex problems and exercise sound judgment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including open availability
  • Ability to develop and lead teams
  • Basic computer knowledge related to order processing

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience desirable
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong influence and presentation abilities
  • Knowledge of Profit and Loss analysis, cash controls, and labor analysis
  • Proficient in calculating food costs
  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
  • Flexibility to handle multiple demands and work various shifts
  • Leadership skills including customer feedback utilization and team development
  • Basic computer skills including order processing systems

Job Duties

  • Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
  • Checks product quality and communicates with customers and assures availability
  • Effectively trains and coaches employees to show courtesy and handling of complaints
  • Conduct meetings with team members and management team for planning, training, and reviewing operations/management procedures and policies
  • Develop and maintain acceptable sales levels using local store marketing
  • Monitor utilities, supplies, and other costs to minimize impact
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and take corrective actions
  • Follow proper food preparation and serving procedures
  • Control restaurant inventory through established systems
  • Use company-approved labor guidelines and develop labor schedules
  • Manage cash control and make daily bank deposits
  • Ensure timely reporting of accidents and incidents
  • Maintain safe work environment and achieve high health department ratings
  • Maintain professional restaurant and team image per BKC standards
  • Keep district manager informed on hiring, promotions, and employee status changes
  • Process payroll and maintain applicant tracking
  • Conduct performance reviews and document disciplinary actions
  • Utilize preventive maintenance for equipment and building
  • Attend meetings for operations planning and training
  • Complete required administrative paperwork
