Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Serv Safe certification required
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to work a variety of shifts and open availability
- Pass background check and drug test as condition of employment
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate clearly and handle customer service challenges
- Understanding and adherence to safety and cash handling procedures
- Strong desire to pursue excellence and passion for the QSR industry
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Some college preferred
- Previous restaurant experience desirable
- Must be Serv Safe certified
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to listen and understand different viewpoints
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Understanding of profit and loss analysis, cash controls, labor analysis, and food cost calculations
- Ability to solve complex problems and exercise sound judgment
- Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands and work various shifts
- Knowledge of order processing systems and basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
- Checks product quality and communicates with customers and assures availability
- Effectively trains and coaches employees to show courtesy and handle complaints
- Conduct meetings with team members and management for planning, training, and reviewing procedures and policies
- Develop and maintain acceptable sales levels using local store marketing
- Monitor utilities, supplies, and costs to minimize impact and analyze profit and loss statements
- Control restaurant inventory through established systems
- Use company-approved labor guidelines and develop labor schedules
- Manage restaurant cash control, make bank deposits, and follow cash handling procedures
- Ensure accidents and incidents are reported timely and maintain a safe work environment
- Achieve high health department ratings and maintain professional restaurant and team image
- Keep district manager informed of hiring, promotions, and employee status changes
- Process payroll and maintain applicant tracking
- Conduct performance reviews, document disciplinary actions, and maintain personnel files
- Utilize preventive maintenance and ensure repair of buildings and equipment
- Attend management meetings and perform all required administrative paperwork
