Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years general manager experience in full service or conference center hotels
- proficiency with hotel information systems and accounting software
- ability to communicate effectively via email and analyze spreadsheet data
- experience managing hotel staff and operations
- knowledge of hospitality industry standards
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- willingness to develop relationships across ownership and corporate teams
Job Qualifications
- Previous 5+ years of general manager experience within a full service or conference center hotel
- experience with hotel information and accounting systems
- strong computer and office skills including email communication and spreadsheet analysis
- premium brand experience such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott or IHG preferred
Job Duties
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
- develop cohesion with associates and maximize each one’s potential
- keep current market share and aggressively grow new prospects
- interact successfully with hotel ownership, key leaders, and corporate staff
- focus on revenue index, flex/flow, and guest satisfaction
- develop staffing plans for new and current leaders
- establish relationships with sales staff and corporate marketing leadership
