Job Requirements

Minimum three years related hospitality management or related field experience
customer experience required
valid driver’s license
successfully pass motor vehicle check
ability to work in outside weather conditions and occasionally near mechanical parts
ability to travel locally and occasionally by air
occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
adhere to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Job Qualifications

Minimum three years related hospitality management or related field experience
customer experience required
valid driver’s license and successfully pass motor vehicle check
two-year degree highly preferred
basic knowledge of computers and software including e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheets
ability to organize multiple projects and meet deadlines
ability to manage and direct staff
conversational or proficient in Spanish

Job Duties

Demonstrates and promotes 100 percent commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests
ensures that all guest related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with company goals and objectives
ensures rooms are guest ready including adhering to the highest cleanliness standards and maintaining public areas and grounds in excellent condition
completes daily room and guest ready room inspections
manages ESA brand standards and processes while pursuing continuous improvement
ensures proper recruiting, interviewing, screening, reference checking, and hiring procedures are followed
onboards and trains new associates including Best Day Ever and Extended Stay University training compliance
drives positive work environment through teamwork and recognition
partners with District Manager to generate optimal associate performance through coaching and counseling
conducts daily team meetings to communicate company updates and hotel needs
provides necessary tools and supplies for team members to perform jobs
maintains appropriate PAR levels and manages purchases within budget
efficiently manages guest rooms to stay in service
manages labor expenses using productivity reports and daily punch approvals
responsible for cash management and timely payment collection
ensures quality lead generation quotas through guest engagement and market awareness
upholds ESA standards and policy compliance
ensures bank deposits are completed in accordance with company policy
completes competitive surveillance and reviews in-house rates
adheres to employment laws
performs duties in all aspects of hotel operations as needed
directly manages Assistant General Manager/Team Leader
actively reviews and responds to guest experience and social media postings
