Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- 0-2 years of experience using landscape maintenance equipment
- Associate degree or equivalent education and/or work experience
- Minimum of 2 years in mechanical/electrical position within critical facilities
- NFPA70E certification
- Ability to do small engine and equipment maintenance and repairs
- 1-2 years of general facility maintenance and repair experience
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to learn and use CMMS Work Order System
- US citizenship with ability to acquire secret clearance
Job Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience using landscape maintenance equipment
- High school diploma required
- Associate degree or equivalent education and/or work experience and a minimum of 2 years in a mechanical/electrical position within critical facilities (preferably a data center, hospital, semi-conductor, or power plant) required
- Ability to do small engine and equipment maintenance and repairs
- 1-2 years of experience with general facility maintenance and repair work
- NFPA70E certified during employment required
- OSHA 10 certification or the ability to obtain one after hire
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions
- Ability to learn and use CMMS Work Order System
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to acquire a secret clearance
Job Duties
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining lawn mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, snowplow truck and other snow removal equipment efficiently and safely
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain irrigation systems, perform sprinkler system maintenance, operation and repairs
- Remove yard debris and manage weed control
- Perform snow removal services, may be required to report during off hours
- Perform seasonal activities, such as fall cleanup and winter assignments, efficiently and safely
- Maintaining a high standard of appearance and cleanliness of all outdoor and indoor spaces
- Performs general maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, or sanitary systems
