The role of General Cleaning Staff at IFS is a critical component of the company’s commitment to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments in all assigned areas. Staff members are entrusted with performing standard cleaning procedures according to the building’s operational schedule, ensuring that all designated spaces such as rooms, hallways, bathrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows meet rigorous cleanliness standards. This position demands physical stamina and attention to detail as duties include sweeping, debris removal, spill cleanups, mopping, emptying trash containers, recycling duties, polishing stainless steel surfaces, dusting fixtures and furnishings, cleaning windows and mirrored surfaces, and maintaining the cleanliness of customer and team member restrooms.

Employees are expected to complete sweep logs and communicate daily progress and any issues to supervisory personnel via verbal or written work orders. Additional tasks such as washing walls, ceilings, doors, thresholds, and other assigned cleaning responsibilities may be required to maintain facility upkeep. The schedule offers flexibility with rotating shifts including Wednesday through Saturday from 7 am to 6 pm and Sunday through Tuesday from 7 am to 6 pm, accommodating employees who seek to generate additional income or seek a dynamic work setting with advancement potential.
