Job Requirements

Able to complete all paperwork required of the position including but not limited to cash reports, production records and temperature records within a thirty-day probationary period
Must possess a positive attitude and good customer relation skills
No previous experience required
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

Job Duties

Assist with all aspects of the food service process using good physical safety and HACCP procedures
Food preparation
Food service and cashiering
Kitchen sanitation and clean-up
Stock and restocking
Provide the highest quality of service to the customers at all times
Work as a team member to complete all duties in a timely and efficient manner
Adhere to guidelines and requirements set forth by the National School Lunch Program, the National School Breakfast Program and the State of Connecticut
Participate in training sessions related to job description
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Cook Manager and/or Food Service Director
Complete all duties in full compliance with the policies and procedures set forth by the Naugatuck Public Schools Food Service Program, Board of Education and school Principal
