Job Description
This job posting is for a position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee has a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, effectively running the restaurant under the McDonald’s brand. However, this franchisee is an entirely separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. If hired, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is solely responsible for all employment matters in the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling, while McDonald’s USA has no control over these employment aspects and will not receive any employment applications or be involved in hiring decisions.
This role is for a Guest Experience Leader at the McDonald’s franchisee-operated restaurant. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can have fun, be challenged, and enjoy a schedule that fits around your life. The Guest Experience Leader position is designed for individuals who want a part-time job that supports their full-time ambitions. This role allows you to choose your hours, pursue education, and develop essential skills while being your authentic self.
The Guest Experience Leader is the heart of the restaurant’s customer service. You will create feel-good moments every day by greeting guests, assisting them with ordering — whether via kiosks or directly at the counter — and addressing their needs promptly. You help make the dining experience enjoyable by offering assistance to customers who may need extra help, ensuring that children receive their kid treats, and verifying guest satisfaction after they receive their food. Handling any concerns or issues that arise and communicating feedback to the restaurant team are also critical components of the role. Such responsibilities foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere for all customers.
This job is ideal for people who thrive on energy, teamwork, and purpose. The team culture promotes a 'YES' attitude, encouraging learning, growth, and contribution. You can expect to gain valuable job skills and access educational opportunities such as college tuition assistance, high school completion programs, and English language courses through the Archways to Opportunity program. Employees also benefit from a strong support system and benefits package that includes competitive pay, medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid time off, and even meal discounts.
Whether you are starting your career or seeking a part-time role that aligns with other commitments, this Guest Experience Leader position offers an enriching workplace. The franchisee-run restaurant commits to being America's best first job by providing a stable environment that encourages personal and professional growth. It is a place where you can go further than you thought possible, build your future, and enjoy working with a supportive and energetic team.
