The Geek Squad Delivery Driver role at Best Buy, also referred to internally as the Delivery Experience Agent, is a dynamic position responsible for the safe delivery, installation, repair, and haul-away of appliances, televisions, and other tech equipment. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, physical capability, and customer service skills to ensure a seamless and positive experience for customers. Drivers must assess the best delivery routes and methods, including measuring and protecting installation paths in customers’ homes. They also determine whether doors need to be detached or fixtures moved to facilitate the delivery.
In addition to performing physical delivery duties, the Delivery Experience Agent advises customers on product placement and services, manages inventory and vehicle maintenance along with team members, and processes paperwork and payments efficiently. The role also involves internal collaboration, where the driver provides feedback to store teams and completes in-store repairs when necessary. Leadership opportunities exist within the role, with experienced drivers training new team members and leading two-person delivery jobs while also being capable of working independently.
This role demands a strong customer focus and adherence to safety standards, with the requirement for a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Physical endurance is essential, as the job involves lifting heavy items up to 350 pounds alone or 700 pounds with a team. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and acquire necessary state or local licenses within the first 90 days of employment. Preferred qualifications include leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, experience in home installation environments, and familiarity with technology products.

Job Requirements
- 6 months of customer service, sales, installation, or large product delivery experience
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy’s safety standards
- Ability to carry, lift push and pull weight up to 350 pounds alone or up to 700 pounds as part of team, with the use of a harness, lift or dolly, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of being hired

Job Duties
- Attend to delivery duties, including the installation, networking and repair of devices with a focus on home theater equipment and appliances
- Provide a seamless client experience by providing advice on product placement, services and other content
- Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance in partnership with other team members
- Process paperwork and payment, provide feedback to the store teams and complete in-store repairs
- Provide training to new drivers
- Lead and assist on two person jobs as well as perform work alone
