Job Requirements
- High School degree or GED equivalent
- minimum 2 years' experience as bartender in restaurant, hotel or golf course food operations
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work minimum of 4 shifts per week including doubles or consecutive closing and opening shifts
- knowledge of mixology
- ability to use POS system
- knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations with current Maricopa County certification
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service standards with current certification
- ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- comply with employee conduct, uniform and personal hygiene requirements
- physically capable to stand for 2-3 hours and walk for 1 hour daily
- able to perform occasional bending, squatting, reaching and frequent grasping and fine eye-hand coordination
- able to work primarily outdoors with exposure to temperature variations, noise and dust
Job Qualifications

- demonstrates excellent customer services skills
- ability to work a minimum of 4 shifts a week
- knowledge of mixology and ability to prepare cocktails timely and meeting service protocols
- ability to work with POS system
- working knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations and current Maricopa County certification
- working knowledge of responsible service standards for alcohol and current certification
- ability to work nights, weekends and holidays or extended hours as needed
- provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's doctrinal statement, ethical position statement and mission
Job Duties
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- work shift work and weekends, and public holidays, ensuring prompt timekeeping and attendance
- adhere to employee conduct, uniform and personal hygiene requirements
