Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC ("CEC"), based in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. Established with a mission to create joyful, lasting memories, CEC Entertainment hosts over half a million birthday celebrations annually, making it a cornerstone for family fun across the United States and internationally. The company prides itself on providing a safe and welcoming environment where children can play, learn, and enjoy quality food and entertainment. Its commitment is demonstrated through initiatives like the Kid Check® safety program and a strong tradition of community support with more than $24 million donated to schools and nonprofits. The company's innovative culture and dedication to employee well-being earned Chuck E. Cheese the “Best in STEM” award and the designation as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.

As an integral part of the CEC team, the Game Room Attendant role is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, particularly supporting children and families as they enjoy various games and entertainment options. This role is thoughtfully crafted both to accommodate first-time job seekers and to provide a meaningful step in building a rewarding career within the company, with many managers having grown from within the organization. The position offers competitive hourly wages ranging between $16.90 and $17.90, along with commission opportunities that enhance overall earnings potential. For exempt employees, commissions range from $0.50 to $10.00 per membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, paid bi-weekly unless state law requires otherwise. Non-exempt employees may earn commissions from $2.00 to $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass sold, also paid bi-weekly.

The Game Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and enjoyable gaming area, attending to guest needs and maintaining operational game equipment. This role demands a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills, as well as physical abilities to lift objects and engage actively throughout the shift. The environment includes exposure to flashing lights, mechanical equipment, and noise, making adaptability and stress management essential qualities.

CEC Entertainment fosters an inclusive, diverse workplace culture, providing flexible scheduling, a range of employee benefits including health coverage and 401(k) plans, scholarships, and special programs like the “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” payroll option offering employees rapid access to earned wages. Other perks include significant meal discounts during shifts, employee referral incentives, and emergency assistance through the CEC Cares Fund. The company actively embraces equal opportunity employment standards, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds and experiences to join its vibrant workforce.

For those seeking a dynamic work environment that values fun, family, and professional growth, the Game Room Attendant position at CEC Entertainment presents an excellent opportunity.
