- ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow-up periodically with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients advising guests on appropriate combinations
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- address complaints promptly and relay relevant information to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
- operate various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments to perform duties during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
