Meanwhile, Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP and its subsidiary entities focus on offering tax and business advisory services. Both entities are independent members of Baker Tilly International, a global network operating in 141 territories with 43,000 professionals worldwide and combined annual revenue reaching $5.2 billion. This network facilitates delivering top-tier accounting and business advisory services across many regions, ensuring comprehensive, international coverage and expertise.
Baker Tilly is currently seeking a GAAP Compilation Senior Consultant to join its Public Sector group. This group specializes in serving the advisory and accounting needs of state and local governments, special purpose governments, and entities such as counties, boroughs, cities, villages, townships, schools, utilities, districts, and agencies across the United States. The role offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic team environment focused on delivering high-quality financial reporting and accounting services tailored to public sector entities. The position stresses continuous professional development through participation in training, networking opportunities, and recruitment activities, including supporting campus recruiting and employee referral programs. Although travel requirements are limited, some travel may be necessary to fulfill client needs.
