Job Qualifications

High school education or equivalent
Up to one month related experience or training
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using American money and measurements
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Effective verbal communication skills
Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
Strong customer service skills with a focus on team collaboration
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

Job Duties

Prepare all fudge products and sell to customers
Perform all Ginna’s restaurant functions including deli line, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge and other duties as assigned
Follow all food safety guidelines by State and Local Ordinances
Ensure all products are received and stored according to Standard Operating Guidelines
Assist in training new associates using kitchen tools, mentor checklists and Standard Operating Guidelines
Ensure cash control and till management is followed according to Scheels Cashier Guidelines
Manage side work, daily and detail cleaning schedules, opening and closing procedures
Maintain knowledge of Café recipes and prepared foods
Maintain a clean and orderly personal work space and surrounding areas
Be professional in appearance and attitude contributing to a positive team atmosphere
Perform basic math operations related to money and weights
Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Write routine reports and correspondence
Speak effectively before groups of customers and employees
Work scheduled hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Prepare various types of food, drinks and ingredients
